His voice has been compared to Bing Crosby and Pat Boone. He has performed Christmas concerts on numerous Christian television networks including Canada's 100 Huntley Street; Getting Together on the Cornerstone TeleVision network (CTV) based out of Pittsburgh, PA; and the 3ABN Satellite Network.
Steve has ministered in an array of situations and venues – from military bases, hospitals, and shopping malls to some of the finest performing arts centers here and abroad. Steve has shared the stage with a host of with Christian artists during his long career. Multiple overseas tours have taken him, literally, around the world. But his heart remains, as it has always been, in the ministry and mission of the local church.
Steve's Christmas CD continues to be a holiday classic on many Christian radio stations around the country. It includes: An Evening in December, Take Us Home, White Christmas, Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas, and many other traditional Christmas hymns, like Joy to the World, Hark the Herald Angels Sing, and Away in a Manger.
