This is a CD that Steve always felt destined that one day he would do. These great classic songs were from his parents generation. And yet, upon finishing a trip to Israel, Steve was drawn to revisit some of these great, classic songs.  He discovered a power and depth that was remarkably touching. Steve wanted to share these songs with a new generation of spiritual travelers and lead them on a musical journey with a focal point of the Cross.

Strengthen and Comforted our Hearts March 22, 2011

Just wanted to say a very special thank you for your CD.  It came at a very important time as my wife and I were walking through the final days of my father-in-law's life.  The message and ministry of your songs strengthened and comforted our hearts...even as I write this, your CD is on here at home.  So many of the songs, "Fill My Cup Lord", "Time", "I Walked Today Where Jesus Walked", over and over brought the presence and reality of Jesus to our hearts.

"Time And Eternity" has gone right to the center of my heart.  I have never heard a CD of yours 3 times in a row until now!  "The Old Rugged Cross" and "To The Cross" simply make me melt.  I was embarrassedly in tears in the plane yesterday.

Each song paints a picture of what Christianity is all about; a deep, intimate walk with Jesus Christ, the One who gave it all so that we might have it all.  Darmody's signature rich, deep baritone voice and his passion for sharing Christ through his gift, make For Time and Eternity a truly memorable, inspiring work of musical art that will stir something in the listener, whether they realize it or not.  One of the highlights on the album is the duet Time between Darmody and his daughter Jaclyn Pruehs, who just released her first album in November.  It, too, is a sweeping and very fitting piece on the timeless hope found in Christ alone.

The new CD is beautiful!  Sometimes I fear we are not teaching our younger members the beauty of the old music and I am convinced that if given a chance, they'd come to love those old songs.  Nothing touches my heart like the beautiful:  "I come to the garden alone. . . " etc. . . .  How I've missed those beautiful songs and I am so thankful that you have put this CD out with such wonderful "oldies"!  Thank you so much! ! !
